The Ministry of MSME has adopted Quality Management System and Quality Standards for its operations. ISO certification means company follows strict quality control processes in every area of the business operations for security of customers to know a company’s quality measures. ISO 9000/ISO 14001 Certification fees or expenses can be reimbursed from government upto Rs. 75000.

All industrial undertakings having an investment in plant and machinery of Rs 50 Crore and above; and turnover of Rs. 250 crore and above may file for IEM / Industrial Licensing. (includes Existing Units, New undertaking)

NSIC enlists Micro & Small Enterprises (MSEs) under Single Point Registration scheme (SPRS) for participation in Government Purchases. Micro & Small Enterprises who have already commenced their commercial production are eligible for NSIC Registration.

An enterprise shall be classified as a micro, small or medium enterprise on basis of investment upto 50 Crore can obtain Udyam Registration. In the past, EM-II or UAM registration or any other registration issued by any authority under the Ministry of MSME, will have to re-register.
